The 2024 Peel Council on Aging (PCoA) 2nd annual Summit on Aging was a resounding success, with over 300 seniors in attendance and 32 information booths. We engaged the audience in open discussions and gathered valuable feedback to support the PCoA’s ongoing work in addressing priority challenges for seniors in Peel.
The event, centered around the theme of healthy aging, began with an informative introduction to PCoA, setting the stage for a day of insightful discussions. Our speakers covered key topics affecting the older adult community.
During the lunch break, attendees explored our Information Village, where valuable resources were shared, and sponsors distributed exciting prizes. The day concluded with a dynamic roundtable discussion, where participants raised important questions and shared insights to guide community initiatives.
Overall, it was a remarkable day filled with valuable information, engaging discussions, and positive energy, underscoring our commitment to supporting healthy aging in our community.
